Most of us have been conditioned to think that comfort foods are not good and must be avoided. Sometimes, if your comfort food is a high sugar food or some other junk food, this holds true. Research has found that this amino acid stimulates the production of brain waves. This helps improve your mental acuity while calming the rest of your body.
